The Paragraph is merely a group of closely related sentences which deal with a subdivision of thought. There is nothing hard and fast about paragraph structure-and never was.  The paragraph was developed to make reading easier for us by gathering into convenient parcels such statements that go naturally together.

But always remember that the beginning and the end of a paragraph are the most emphatic in a piece of writing.

He was five yards behind her, she yanked over a bale of hay while  galloping up the ladder , what transpired as she glanced back she would relate to her friends numerous times to great hilarity!
